Individual repertoire
People generally do not realise that everyone has a smaller or bigger repertoire of spoken pieces used as one’s verbal treats.
Such a personal collection often relates to different spheres of life and the verbal treats can easily be classified:
The expansion of your repertoire can proceed along three steps:
(1) specify YOUR FAVOURITES (that is stories, jokes, etc. you deliver most often),
(2) collect those which result from YOUR EXPERIENCE (such as short accounts of films, books, unusual events, etc.), and
(3) enrich the set with pieces to do with YOUR INTERESTS
(on different levels, that is to do with a given discipline, special news, ideas, phenomena etc.)
